The Big 3-0.

They say that 30 is supposed to be this panic ridden, what the hell happened to my squandered youth, type of birthday. I don't know who "they" are, but if they mean waking up with the flu-like symptoms, then "they" are right; just kill me now.
I am excited to get to be all grown up, but I'm not sure how my life plans on changing in any significant way. I allready have a family, and I spent my 20's travelling from state to state, and I went back to school. Here's hoping my next 30 years are just as fun!

This morning I woke up to the saddest version of "Happy Birthday" you will ever hear, sung by my vocally challenged children. I loved it, they won't just sing for any old person, I should have gotten it on tape, but it ended with "Eat more chicken". How did Chick-fil-a get their ad in the birthday song? It must have worked because after they were done I was craving a honey butter chicken sandwich. Oh wait, that's Whataburger.

Then there were the suprises! You heard me, suprises. Jason acctually kept my birthday presents from me! That alone is the best birthday present ever. I love my man.

How could it possible get any better?


Oh, it does.

He suprised me with Sprinkes cupcakes! I have been wanting to go get some since Dallas had one open, but since I am a husge procrastiator, I never went.

And this was just on my birthday. Yesterday my family took me out to Texas Land and Cattle, where I had a big bowl Smokey Chicken Tortilla soup. Yum!! It's been a great birthday!
