5 things I am Thankful for.

Happy thanksgiving to one and all! I thought that since this is the time of year that we reflect back on blessings we have received, that I would write at least 5 things that I am thankful for.

1. I am thankful for my family! I have a wonderful and supportive husband who keeps me laughing and 3 wonderful kids. James who is and amazing artist and Jim Carry wanna-be, Zach who loves everyone and loves to put a smile on your face, and Casey who is ready to take on the world, one meal at a time.
Then there is my mom and dad! The have to be the greatest parents in the world! They taught me the importance to have "drive", to set your eye on a goal and go for it. If you fall get back up, cause it 's not how many times you've fallen but how many times you get up that counts. They taught me to love myself, and that was the hardest lesson for me to learn, and that how you feel on the inside really does reflect on the outside. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters that are my sounding board, and tend to look the other way to my sassiness. I love all of you very much and wish we could be together this year!

2. I am thankful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am thankful to be sealed to my family for time and all eternity and to receive the blessing that go along with those covenants. I am thankful for my testimony and for the strength of the testimonies of the members of my ward. I love being in the Primary and wouldn't have it any other way. The kids are great and I love each and every one of them and their love for life!

3. WOW! I am only at three and I think I am running out of things to say! I've got to dig deep I guess......O.K. 3.... I am thankful that my husband had the guts to start his own company, much to my belly-aching and resistance. Since it started, I haven't been in want of things. Our bills are paid, we have food on the table and a place to live and we have each other...I tend to get carried away with the things that I don't have rather than the things that I do have.

4. School. I am thankful tot be able to go back to school and to pursue a dream that I have had for 6 years. I finally realized at the ripe old age of 22, that I wanted to pursue Nursing as a career. So finally my youngest is in school and I can attend guilt free.

5. Finally I am thankful for my wonderful friends! I have such great friends, old and new. that are such a great support system for me. Thank you for listening and loving unconditionally, and all the great memories that we share! I love each one of you very much and appreicate the effect that you have had on my life!
