SPT

This week, Lelly challenged: "your feet will bring you to where your heart is". Toughie, I know. Here's what I decided to go with......stay with me now, there is usually a method to my madness, usually.
Starting out on my journey.

Out and about in the pouring rain (please excuse the flats with the slim jeans, Posh Spice would have a fit! But when have I ever cared about what Posh Spice thinks?)

What the?????!!!! (FYI...I think feet are probably the most ugliest part of the body, not on all people, but the majority. Prove me wrong people, prove me wrong)

Ahhhhhh.....thank goodness!
I wanted to go on a less beaten path. Obviously my first choice is my family. Obviously. But this is a long forgotten love.....swimming. It's been years since I've enjoyed swimming....maybe it's all the supervising with my own kids, but I lost it along the way. I have recently decided to join the local rec center swim club, but we'll see if I actually follow through. 5:15 am practices seem a little daunting. Second thoughts anyone?

I feel the same way about feet- I love the water shot though. This is a great one- good luck with the early morning 'me time'. Sounds so peaceful.

Good for you! I manage to fit in about 22 minutes of brisk walking most days for some exercise. I keep thinking I'll try swimming next fall when my youngest starts kindergarten and I have more than just a few minutes to myself.

I love the water photo. Good for you to get back in the water. I'm not much of a feet person either, but I love baby feet!

Great pictures... I am with ya on the whole foot thing. I don't like them & hate mine..
Good luck on the swimming. I could never go to the gym at 5:15 a.m. Not an early morning person.

Bravo! I say CHEERS for finding your love of swimming again! There are so many things I feel I've lost touch with since I began the bedlum of raising my sweet kiddos. Very clever post. And I love your shoes!

Good for you for returning to swimming. My kids swam all the way through high school. It's a great sport to get in shape with.
Good luck!

oh
I love this-
it has been oh so long since I have just swam-(usually its holding little ones in the water)
way to go on joining a swim club- This has got my mind going a bit- Swimming is the only form of exercising that I enjoy, and its been so long since I have done it!
Don't hate your feet- they are great-
