SPT: *EGG*stra Special Weekend

I first must make a side note for my previous blog: most of what I write is tongue in cheek. Those who don't know me all that well may not quite get that. I just assume that people know that. So there you go, please never take anything I write seriously, unless I say, "Take this seriously". Read whatever you want ladies, read whatever you want. Just not Deceptively Delicious! ;)

We went to an egg hunt at the Frisco Rough Riders Dr. Pepper Ball Park:

The whole field was scattered with Easter eggs:

Unfortunately the park was full of kids, and here's disappointment written all over my children's faces, at only getting 2 eggs each, all of them filled with melted chocolate:

Here we are at the end of the day:
Not a total loss, they had bounce houses and got to tour the clubhouse where the Rough Riders get ready for their games. Hope everyone had a great Easter.

SPT

This week, Lelly challenged: "your feet will bring you to where your heart is". Toughie, I know. Here's what I decided to go with......stay with me now, there is usually a method to my madness, usually.
Starting out on my journey.

Out and about in the pouring rain (please excuse the flats with the slim jeans, Posh Spice would have a fit! But when have I ever cared about what Posh Spice thinks?)

What the?????!!!! (FYI...I think feet are probably the most ugliest part of the body, not on all people, but the majority. Prove me wrong people, prove me wrong)

Ahhhhhh.....thank goodness!
I wanted to go on a less beaten path. Obviously my first choice is my family. Obviously. But this is a long forgotten love.....swimming. It's been years since I've enjoyed swimming....maybe it's all the supervising with my own kids, but I lost it along the way. I have recently decided to join the local rec center swim club, but we'll see if I actually follow through. 5:15 am practices seem a little daunting. Second thoughts anyone?

How would you know?

I heard about spt (self portrait tuesday) from my friend Stacy who gets her ideas from Lelly. Now that I acctually have the time to breath, I thought I would give it a try!
So this week Lelly asked: " If I came to visit how would I know which doorbell to ring?" Well I thought about it, and I needed to not be in this picture....here's why. By just looking at my door, you would think to your self.."Hmmmm....just a regular 'ol apartment door" and you would be correct.

The only way you would know it was my door is by the sound coming from the inside. Muffled screams if you will. Once the door bell has be rung, our poor visitor would be exposed to this:

I'm not in the picture, becuase I would be in back at my computer huddling from the chaos.
