4 Words that should NEVER come out of a child's mouth

Let me preface:
Anything said by my children in my car is considered 'white noise'. Why you might ask? Mostly because it's been said before and it's the same old discussion or insights that we've been discussing for a month. A lot of "Mom.....didja' know" or there is a particular song that I enjoy and I feel the need to drown out any of the said 'white noise'. I have learned to tune it out and am able to answer with unspecific replies, such as; sure, really?, I don't know, I'm not really sure, you should ask your dad, totally and the good old stand by: uh huh. (i'm sure i'm not the only mom out there that does this) It saves for a lot of repetitive questions to make sure I had been listening and a lot of arguments from starting.

Zach: blah, blah, blah.
Moi: Uh huh
Zach: wah wah wah wha
Moi: Really?
Zach: so and so has amazing balls!
Moi: WHAT?????!!!!! (Trying not to slam on the brakes)
Zach: So and so's balls are amazing!
Moi, really trying to hold it together and stifling a gut busting, full on, pee your pants laugh (that's right I have a gutter mind): Would you mind clarifying that for me?
Zach: so and so was playing ultimate dodge ball on 'Total Drama Island'.... and when he threw the balls, they did cool stuff.

Now I have to go talk to an 8 year old about why those words should never be uttered again.
I love being a mom.
P.S. I totally watched that episode, and his balls were pretty amazing. ;)

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You are so funny.

I had to tell my husband that balls was not the best word to use when talking to his 3-4 year old son. I didn't want to be sitting there with a bunch of other prissy moms and have to explain why my 4 year old said things like balls and nuts. :)
