I like gay people. Really I do. I don't even mind the gay people in my class hitting on me, or asking me to move in with them, because she needs a "room mate" or the occasional invite to the local lesbian bar. I had to tell her that if I was going to go to a bar, it would have guys so that I could flirt with them. Silly me, I'm quirky like that. I'm flattered, really I am. It's nice to know that I have options.;)
I do however have problems with people (of all sexual orientations)with no boundaries. Some people just never learned that there are boundaries in life. Take the lovely ladies in my P.E. class for instance, yesterday they harassed the coach asking her if she was a lesbian, bi or straight. Again, silly me, I find that disrespectful, and frankly none of their business. The poor coach tried to ignore the subject, but they harassed her for a good 15 min of class time. I felt so bad for her. There is a certain teacher/student relationship that has to be maintained and just because you find the teacher cool, or nice, does not give one the right to ask what your sexual orientation is, even in college. Your gay? Cool with me. You're not? Cool with me. If you want to tell me you are gay, fine. But I will not ask you if you are or not. Again, none of my business. I frankly think the coach wants to quit the class, could you blame her?! I hope she doesn't because I love the class and she's a great teacher.
And that was my vent for November. Soon to come: Why A&P Regular ROCKS THE PANTS OFF of A&P Express!!! (Not really a post, just a matter of fact statement)

I've had gay friends flirt with me too... and yeah it is kind of flattering... they know I'm straight and are just doing it for fun but it's still nice to know someone thinks you're cute...
That is totally tacky, rude and disrespectful. How sad for your teacher!
I felt the same way about my P.E teacher in Jr. High. People are blind and ignorant.
