1. I am a closet Sanrio freak, not so much Hello Kitty, but all the other ones. Kittys' been off my list since she became mega mainstream, I mean don't get me wrong, she's cute and all, but I'm more of an unmainstream person, which leads me into quirk # 2.
2. I have a habit of liking things before their time. Fashion, trends, that sort of thing. Loved Paula Deen and Rachel Ray until they appeared on Oprah. I watched and played Texas Hold 'Em before everyone and their dog qualified for the WPTA. I just feel that as soon as something becomes massed produced or absorbed, it looses it's charm and authenticity. It's like when a mortal enemy has the same outfit on as you....I've had that happen too. It BUGS the crap out of me. Seriously, but if I like you then we're good.
3. OK this one is weird: I have secretly always wanted to be a good old fashion pin-up girl. Pretty risque for a Mormon girl, huh? I'm not kidding. And not the naked kind either, the kind that are still have clothes on and still look sexy.There's just something about the time and the idea of it and the glamour that I wish I could have lived through and been a part of.
4. I yell at the T.V. when watching sporting events. Not just 'yell', but a superfan "GET YOU STUPID BUTT ACROSS THE GOAL LINE, HOW HARD COULD IT BE!" (blog-friendly version). I think that because I have to keep my hockey mom tendencies in check while Zach and Casey play, I let loose on the T.V. and the ever frustrating season that the Cowboys have been having. Oh, and don't think it's just football it's also college football, college basketball, watching the Suns play, and you should hear me at a hockey game, or even watching curling on T.V. But as a superfan, I draw the line at painting my face/body. I may dance with the dark side, but I would certainly never go home with it.
5. I'm a hot chocolate connoisseur (snob). I really, really, really L-O-V-E hot chocolate. BUT and it's a big but, it has to be made with milk. You heard me, milk. It's creamier and just all around more delish. I swear. If some one happens to buy me one from the gas station or even Starbucks (yes, they have yet to impress me), I have to add cream to their, flavorless so-called hot chocolate.
6. I am Queen of Procrastination. Really, it's only taken me a week to post this and I haven't even posted Casey's birthday pictures which was almost a month ago.....I'm just sayin'.

Amen on the hot chocolate! I don't like it with water either. I like it nice and creamy.
I'm with you on the hot chocolate, b'cept I'm not a snob. Ever. But J is. Best gift ever, cocoa latte maker. Makes it the perfect temperature, and even a little froth. But only if you make it with milk.
I'm also with Tori. I mean, not that I really care, but you can get calendars made and they dress you up like the old fashioned kind of sexy and everything. I think you'd look awesome. Not that I really care.
I don't even know what Texas Hold'Em is. Thought it was something you did, not played.

Tori: Great minds think alike! I am planning it for his Christams present next year. The Llady I want to do it through, books 3-4 months out.
Amy: Kindred spirits. Gotta love the creamy cocoa on a cold night, in pj's watching tv or reading a book.
Nobo: I've been trying to convince Jason that he need to get me one, but my words go unheeded. Oh and I think you really do care. It's touching.
Ooooohhh, a tag! I suppose this means I'm officially a blogger. I'll get right on that after I whip up an American feast and eat like there's no tomorrow.

Our cocoa latte maker is THEE best thing!! And I only make it with milk too-- mostly 'cause thats the only way I get my daily dose of the white stuff!! But yes, the creamier the better!
